COMING UP FOR SALE!

*9 year old registered Quarter Horse mare, 15.2 hands, dark sorrel!  Doc Bar, Leo, Three Bars, Goldseeker foundation blood lines.  This mare has all the reining or Gymkana potential you could ask for!  She has been started in her basic reining training and can stop on a dime, roll back and leave you change.  She is a hard working mare that will suit your working needs.  Or she has a lovely head and neck with a nice big hip to add to your breeding program.  I will continue her reining training this spring until she is sold.  She has been bred to a cremello quarter horse stallion for a palomino colt or filly coming in 2012!  $4,500

*6 year old Straight Division Curly gelding, 14 hands, super cute!  "Huckleberry" is just as cute as can be, and really wants to please.  For a youngster, his personality is fairly unflappable.  Has been started under saddle and is plugging right along.  Shows no buck, or any problems being ridden.  Great 4-H potential all around from pleasure showing to gaming.  Comes with another solid month of training and board in purchase price to make "Huck" ready for you or your child.  $2,500

*11 year old appaloosa mare, 14.3 hands, nice coloring, calm disposition!  "Chloe" has that amazing easy going personality that will make her suitable for all types of riders, beginners to advanced.  Started under saddle, easy to train, wants to please.  Will be suitable for 4-H, trail riding, or open shows.  $2,500

APOLLO
8 year old,15.2 hand TB/Appy Gelding
SALE PENDING!!!

Apollo is an amazing 8 year old, TB/Appy gelding!  He has been in training at Wildwind Farm since April 2011, and has shown great talent and willingness to learn in dressage and jumping. The picture of him jumping is after three days of him learning at a day camp.  He was doing trot poles on Tuesday, and by Thursday he was jumping 2 foot! He has been shown, and in his first show he acted like a veteran amongst a group of horses in the ring!  He was shown hunter under saddle and in western pleasure in walk/trot classes. He won multiple times in english, and was in the high ribbons in western.  This guy is flashy, and shines like a copper penny in the ring!  His second show was dressage intro. classes and he scored in the 60's for his first time out. He did jumper classes in the afternoon, and ended up finishing a 2'3" course with a different rider than the one pictured!  Apollo is willing and able to work his heart out, even with different riders.  This gelding is going to make someone an awesome companion, or a next move up horse.  Take him pony club, 4-H, English &/or western, and down the trails.  He will do it all!  I have even thought about keeping him as a lesson horse, but feel that he is too young and talented to leave his career there.  He will make someone very happy for years to come. One last note, we used Apollo in our recent parade dressed as a pack horse, he was unflappable down main street!  Priced firm at $3,500

SASSY BINT JA SOUFA
15 year old,13.2 hand POA/1/2 Arabian Mare

Sassy has been an amazing pony for a lesson horse the past year at Wildwind Farm. She has proven herself in the show ring, county fair, gaming, trail riding and jumping. She rides well English, but also neck reins for western. She also does not mind bareback riding. She truly is a wonder pony! Sassy will teach your kids the ropes in riding, with that easy to handle smaller size. She is not a packer, but is honest, and will make your kids ride. She has also proven herself as a broodmare in the past. She is double registered 1/2 Arabian and POA. UTD on trimming, shots and worming. If you are looking for that perfect pony for your kids, without the pony attitude, Sassy would work for you. Priced to sell, dont wait too long on this one!  $2,500

KARAMIN'S GOLDEN BEAM
9 year old,14.2 hand Morgan Gelding

Casper is a laid back Morgan gelding that has been used for almost everything!  When Casper was originally started under saddle, he was in professional training for a year.  He goes well in the show ring or down the trails!  He has been ridden Saddle Seat, Hunt Seat, western, 4-H gaming, dressage and jumping.  He also also rides down the trails, or can be used as a pack horse.  This boys color will take your breath away, especially in the summer when he gets that deep golden color!  If you are looking for that flashy horse for showing, but do not want the hotness or spookiness, Casper would certainly work for you!  Casper has been ridden by all ages of riders from 9 years old to 74 years old!  Currently he is being ridden on the trails.  He is priced to sell, and price is firm.  Take a little time, and get him double registered with the PHBA (Palomino Horse Breeders Association) and take him to Palomino shows too!  $3,500 FIRM

ARIEL

9 Year old American Warmblood mare, 17 hands

Image:

Ariel is a gorgeous American Warmblood that has the looks to get you noticed! Between her beautiful flaxen mane and tail, and her gorgeous chrome on her head and legs, you are sure to stand out. She has the potential to take you far in dressage or be your next jumper/eventer. My intention was to keep her for myself, but I am cutting back on my eventing prospects. Started under saddle, groundwork done in sidereins and surcingle.  Excellent ground manners, trailers, clips and bathes.  Has had exposure at the county fair for over three years.  Always in the ribbons in halter, grand champion or reserve grand champion.  Will be bred to German Warmblood this spring.  Once in foal, price will go up until the baby is on the ground next year.   $10,000

WF MAXIMUS
2006 American Warmblood gelding, 15.2 hands, still growing

WF Maximus is a real nice bay gelding out of a Paint/Percheron cross mare and by a Nijinsky II Great Grandson thoroughbred stallion.  Both the sire and dam have super sweet, mellow dispositions and have passed it along to Max.  He is easy going, a cinch to work with and is a sweetheart himself.  Already stands tied all day!  He bathes, clips, loads and has been handled by 4-Hers for Groom Squad.  Maximus was born and raised at Wildwind Farm. He is thoroughly imprinted, and wants to please! He was started lightly as a 2 year old, ridden some more the next year by a working student, and really started into formal training in the winter of 2010. He was started in jumping in the spring of 2011, his 5 year old year. Has been cross country schooled at Tulip Springs. He has been shown in 2' hunter over fence classes, small jumper classes, and in Training Level Dressage. In Dressage, he is scoring easily in the 60s. Max has the uphill shoulder, and short back making him ideal for dressage movement, or jumping with ease. This young horse shows tons of talent for a pony clubber to tap into, or an amateur rider to win on. He has lovely movement in all gaits, a nice topline, and a look at me attitude. Being a youngster, he is not for the beginner rider, but for an intermediate, he would be ideal. Get him now before we do more training and showing, and will need to raise his price. Finish him off your way, and take him to the top. Max can be inspected and registered in the American Warmblood registries. Pictures shown is with one of my amateur rider/jumper riding students.  Pick him up now for a steal of a deal!  $4,500

WF ELEKTRA
2008 American Warmblood mare, 15.2 hands, still growing

Elektra is an American Warmblood filly, belgian/TB cross!  Chestnut with gorgeous flaxen mane and tail.  Bred and imprinted by Wildwind Farm.  Started under saddle, great ground manners, will be big!  This filly is bred for combined training, dressage and jumping.  Easy going disposition, nice balanced movement.  Was used in our town parade dressed as a pack horse, she was unflappable down mainstreet!  Has been in the County Fair for the past two years.  Took Reserve Champion in Draft Halter to Ariel listed above.  Will continue in training and competition until sold.  $6,500

"RUDY"
7 year old,14.3 hand registered 1/2 arabian gelding

7 year old 1/2 Arabian bay gelding, 14.3 hands, big bodied.  "Rudy" has a calm, super personality!  He really wants to please, and do right.  Has been started lightly under saddle, ponied numerous times on the trails with saddle bags, and was used for 4-H Groom squad at the 2011 County Fair.  Shows great, all around potential for 4-H or an amateur rider.  Comes with another solid month of training and board in purchase price to make "Rudy" ready for you!  $2,500
